The Benefits of Green Hydrogen in Aircrafts
The hydrogen modules, as we call them, just to differentiate them from the fuel cells in the powertrain. We use these modules that are basically compatible with existing cargo handling equipment. And those modules slide into the back of the airplane through a kind of a cargo style door. In this airplane, they take up three rows of seats. So we lose 12 seats versus the original design. It depends on the exact cabin configuration, but goes roughly from 50 to 40.
