Alain Armstrong and the Band of Thieves

The characters meet torquil, that's alinor armstrong, and the band of thieves. Colwyn is able to make them join his cause by using a key he has from his father's master at arms. The cyclopses are cursed with second sight but see only one thing: their death. They know where it will occur; they kno when it will occur. And if they try to deviate from their fate, it will only insure that their death is more painful.
