Religion isn't just theory, you know, it's practical. It's the way that i interact with people and how I take care of my children. But a scientific person would say well, but what about the truth of the matter? Just ecause it makes you feel good doesn't mean that it's true. And so you're kind of shifting the goal posts here when backed into a corner. The reason science is valuable is because it can land a man on the moon and because it can build a computer - not because it's true in any metaphysical sense.
