How Did You Navigate Publishing as a Black Briton?

Before you were a writer, you worked in publishing quite a lot. I know that being black and publishing in the united states is challenging because there are very few people in publishing,. editorially, as agents, as marketing executives. How did you navigate publishing as a black briton? In my first job, i had legally. A really fun time at Forth estate. And then i went into my next job, and it was not as, it wasn't good at all. It was really, i felt the weight of being the only black woman there. There were many, many incidents that i found very, very tough. But i would have loved to have stayed on and carried on
