Huxley had an ecstatic initiatory ritual that included the difficulty of the climb to the mountain and then the moksha, the psychedelic medicine. In Africa, it's called the Boga. It Boga does exactly the same thing. But by precisely being a fully grown man who is not submitting to the interest of the community,. finding your architect, finding who you are in relay, you get all the meaning of the purpose you were looking for. This is the proper adult subactivity. We basically could be going to ecstatic things. We don't have to deal with them. And we go back to them and they have no meaning to us. They just look like escapism
