The Baltics Are Different From the Rest of the Soviet Union

Ostonia is very western orientand it's very different than most, almost the entire rest of the soviet union. They they're culturally, very distant from russians in a way that the other republics aren't. And they have absolutely no interest in being part of russia's sphere of influence. There's not the same way in ukraine and maldova and georgia and some other places where the times are long standing,. historical, linguistic and in all other ways. It's much more complicated in those places.
