I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life

Gospel accounts of the resurrection are quite amusing in one way, says John. People who have a very strong belief in themselves as an individual self can't relate directly to what jesus is talking about. So when he said i am the way, the truth and the life, they thought that he was referring to himself as a person. But it was projected because of this strong belief i am a temporary, finite, separate person. And then they become the type that lead to a way that others follow.
