The Importance of Faith in Human Reason
This is definitely a text where we can just start with Rule 1 and kind of move forward until we run out of time. They're only 20 some and the last couple are like this is a text he never actually finished. It's not just that there's a reason I thought of Wittgenstein when I read this, but it's also an articulation of the highest aspirations of the Enlightenment. Descartes has this idea of clarity and distinctness in our conceptions.
