I kept hearing all the discourse around ono, not just, we must defend the humanities. But you also can't em help but notice that they were really ineffective arguments. Funding for public education was not coming back as a recourse of that e. Universities weren't suddenly sayingoh, that's right. These noble pursuits are really important. In fact, it was still kind of, ah, the the depth of defunding has been enormous at least in the us context. And it doesn't make sense to me to continue to try to argue something that isn't working.
