How to Balance X Rays in a Balloon Based Astronomy Experiment

A group of students recently launched an experiment to see if we can start replacing some of the more dangerous ruster fuels we use in space with green fuels. X rays ar generally ok most of the experiments they're doing. However, it's more a matter of trying to see what the insitu experience is at that altitude. And sometimes they're just doing technological checks as well.
