The Bad Reputation of John Calvin
John Calvin has had a bit of a bad reputation in recent years for whatever reason. He was the most influential Protestant theologian by far, and that made him the central object of of polemic against Reformation. I think that he has become a cartoon and the fact of not being read. We can't defend ourselves from the consequences of our own ignorance except by looking at what is actually there to be seen.
