How to Reduce the Use of Like in Your Speech

Vocal fry is that sort of crackly um poppy sort of noise that sometimes comes into particularly women's voices as they get through the end of the senate. In linguistics we refer to it as creekive voice which i think is way more descriptive of what it sounds like. When you bunch your vocal folds up and make them thicker and heavier they vibrate at a slower rate because they're heavier and tend to vibrate irregularly. Women in broadcasting are responding to pressure for lower pitch since they've had a haters wrote in about female broadcasters who have low pitches.
