There's generally two motor neurons going from the central nervous system to the muscles that need to contract an upper motor neuron and a lower motor neuron. And so, you know, here we're firing off a whole bunch of muscles. Importantly, when you look at the difference between the upper and lower motor neurons, the lower motor neuron is pretty excitable. So in a way, and this isn't fully correct, but it's a good way to think about it for it to make sense. Now what would that mean if you were damaged?
