Is There a Monolithic Perspective on Education?

i want to take a step back or step up to the 30 thousand or hundred thousand foot view of education. The three primary actives, each of which is valid,. I discussed two of them earlier. One is essentially personal development. Two is ot like skill development, either vocationally or humanistic perspective. And then three is like the citizen's perspectivelike likd like create a citizenry. i don't think i can make a knock down argument that any of these is right. It really depends on you and your community and your culture and your values.
