Can Endometriosis Affect Fertility?
In women who develop infertility as a result of indemetriosis, can fertility be restored? An if so, how successful is that? Yes and no. There does come a point for some patients where there is so much damage to the ovaries from an endometrioma that what we call their overin reserve, or the number of eggs they have left, just becomesn insurmountable problem with the patient's own eggs. For those patients, we still do have the ability to use things like done or egg but for some patients that's not really meeting the goals of what they're trying to achieve.
