The Importance of Reflection
Let your child run the business by themselves. Let them run it for one day or for four days. Don't stand out in the street corner waving cars into don't go door to door to help them sell cookies. When they come home and they're struggling coach them. How did it go? What went well, what didn't go well, try this and then send them back out again. But when the parents are sitting there running their little child's business for them, the child isn't learning. The parents should just go start their own business instead.
