The first thing is that you have to get stalled, which is the bigger source of hemorrhage. Do you go in the abdomen first or do you pack the pelvis first and it expects the pelvis? Sometimes we battle a little bit for territory if I'm in the abdomen. And so I agree with you, your laparotomy really you try to stay above the umbilicus because if you open up that pelvic space, then you're going to find yourself in a little bit of trouble.
