The Relationship Between Psychedelics and Religion
Rogan is a big advocate of using psychedelic drugs to facilitate some sort of transcendent experience. Dawkins: Can we find in the history of religion something like this? Sure. Just as there are various techniques if you look at a lot of different religions including things like celibacy, things like collective singing and liturgical forms that are meant to produce an ecstatic experience right? But I wouldn't put that much weight on those things.
