The Economy Is Top of the Agenda Today, Christine Lagarde

I think that what you're going to see is a correction. The economic nativism of Donald Trump and economic nationalism, which I don't think has changed since Joe Biden became president in the United States. Food security and the possibility that food supply chains could break down have also caused a rethinking of some aspects of globalisation. All of those issues have been big issues here all this week. And yesterday we heard one of the world's most important figures in economic matters, Christine Lagarde, head of the European Central Bank. Her main task right now is getting inflation under control.
