Is the British Museum in a Pickle?

Bristian Museum is refusing to return the tabots. The museum says they are 'unfit' and should be returned under certain conditions. They would hand them over to a church in Ethiopia, but not at London's Victoria & Albert Hospital. A former chancellor of the exchequer has offered his legal opinion on the issue. But there have been no official statements from the museum or its trustees since last year.
