Is the Tongue Expendable?

June and amoryllus are talking about whether the tongue can be seen as expendable. Amarylas says she doesn't think they're expendable, except in the sense that their lives have less worth than our own. In real life, i don't think people are expendable either, but sometimes if you have to make a choice between, like, a random tongue or a random juniper, it's not really that hart of a choice to make,. But on the human scale of, like most of our lives, people aren't replaceable, right?
