The S box has got very dirty and grim very quickly the feeling of peeling stickers off of those boxes. I remember every so often during the year of the S which was also the year that I worked in that store, you would get a mom and a daughter coming into bio DMs with nintendo's and they would ask if there was any other games you'd recommend to them. "I always said animal crossing always and I had a bit on animal crossing that I did and I because it's a game for everybody it's aGame that's non-violent was my big thing"
Gaming used to be for everybody, like Lego. But somewhere around the early noughties gaming became extremely gendered, with first person war shooters dominating mainstream gaming and “girl” games arrived.
