The Power of Peace

When you don't feel agitated or upset or stressed, what do we call it? Peace. It's the common word for the absence and happiness. This is not about making the mind peaceful. If you're dealing with a crime scene, you have a dozen things to attend to. Your thoughts and feelings are working intensely. But in the background, there is always this peaceful presence of awareness. To access that, you just have to take a step back and realise awareness is already peacefully observing the content of experience.
