With that increasing diversity comes the need for greater attention to equity and inclusion in the classroom. And as our populations become more diverse, we have to recognize not just the cognitive side. One of the principles we talk about is prior knowledge, but one of the ways that we've expanded and further to our discussion of the important role of certain grounding principles. The holistic movement in medicine has really challenged physicians, doctors to treat the whole patient. Not the symptoms, but the person as a whole.
