The surgeon's photo is the most iconic image of the lochnes monster. It was taken in 19 34 by robert kenneth wilson, a ginacologist who didn't want to be associated with the image because he thought it would hurt his credibility. The original is a wide framing of the water's rippled surface, with a small object appearing to rise above the water in the lower centre. Most of us are used to seeing that image more tightly cropped, showing what aear s to be the silhouette of a long necked dinosaur like creature with a body trailing behind it.
