Starting With Dialogue
Donjon: The problem with starting with a line dialogue is that we do not hear a voice without attaching things to it. Donjon: Be careful of wild metaphors in your first paragraph, ecause i will take them as real, actual things that you are saying. And the last thing you ever want your reader doing on the first page is having to go back to the topi ow, you want them going forward as fast as you can make theme.
