The Negativity Bias in Training

Our brains just have a tendency to focus on the negative over the positive and every aspect of our lives that's why we're going to do this. I feel like it happens a lot for athletes in like the two or three weeks before their big race they have a terrible workout and then all of a sudden everything's ruined. Just acknowledging more of the things that you're doing well or that you're happy with that you're proud of can kind of shift that that focus away from that negative.
