Frederick II - A German Emperor

CNN's John Sutter looks at the role of a German emperor in Jerusalem history. In 1229, he made an agreement with Egypt's Sultan that gave Muslims exclusive right to pray there and secure city for Christianity. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre stands over the spot of Jesus' resurrection; other churches are Christian worship.
