Star Track - A Utopian Presentation of the Cold War
The original series of star track is a way of artistically presenting the cold war and the federation could be understood as nato. It might subtly shift some elements of that so that one could look at the ways in which human earthlings interact with non humans. But in the end, it actually just is a kind of aesthetic presentation of the cold war. In that sense, it might not actually count as a utopia. A utopia might have to be an actual imagining of something that is more significantly otherwise than star track.
