I think the extent to which america has like, over indexed on ip now that it's in the leading position is a bit of a stain on the country. We are talking about the two largest and most powerful countries in the world. The number one rule of international relations is that the most powerful countries get to make the rules. And china at the end of the day gets down to values. I'm not mounting the argument that piracy, et cetera, is bad, or it's different. That's why it is such a fundamental sort of conflict,. It is a conflict not just about those sorts of things. That's a conflict about power.
Ben and James discuss the U.S.-China trade war and the fundamental issues facing both countries generally and tech specifically.
