Reabsorbing Bicarb

Bicarbonate reabsorption without an apical bicarbonate transporter. You're taking a bicarb that you're filtering and putting it in a way that you can move the CO2 back in the blood, then you make new bicarb again. It's kind of a long step. So obviously reabsorbing bicarb just must have been difficult because we evolved this way. That's how our acid base lecture is for the medical students. They actually have to follow the carbon.
