If Germany would have been able to win the war in institute of the European Union much earlier which would have removed some of the research constraints which actually drove Nazi. I do think there is a slightly more left wing take on this where you need a successful German revolution to link up with successful Russian revolution and that basically solves the research problem from a German point of view. So again I am agnostic on this I think Germany winning the first war is again not the worst of counterfactors to contemplate but if you want a slightly more politically corrective version you just have to say okay what if German Bolsheism was successful and then with the Russian counterpart then that research problem would have solved as well.
