I think there's a substansve like you're faced with something that doesn't feel right, or that's extremely arrogant about its own forms of expression. So the most appealing narrative ends at being the one that your family and friends already believe. And i spend a whole chapter basically trying to take them down as best i can. But anyway, so there is a kernel of truth in the sense that we should be looking at that at that centre.
