Application Layer Companies Are the Ones That Are Getting Access to Human Feedback Data
The companies that are operating at the layer above the LLM platforms may be getting the most human feedback data. This sort of stands to reason if you have a base layer where the big models are living, and then an application layer for plugging them into products which serve some of the data. The end user may not care whether the actual software that they're dealing with is something built by an application layer company or not. But in terms of the internal dynamics of how this industry will develop, I think the point I'm making is important.
