What's the Difference Between DB2 and Southern Rock Opera?
I've listened to a drive-by truckers record on or before release day more than any other band in the history of rock and roll because you know you put out so many. I was aware of that aspect when we were writing southern rock opera it started out as an outline for a a screenplay the Earl Hicks and I were gonna write. There's been references in like two or three of our songs including the driver and the new record. The first DB2 record I found I fell in love with the southern rock opera and it blew me away in the way it tore down legends about rock and roll as well as the American South now do you build these myths and legends to honor memory people
