Can Someone Turn on a Light?

Many shows these days are poorly lit. Is this because that they're hiding wrinkles or bad effects in darkness? What gives? Dan, she says that she rewatched a couple of early-aut shows, including Battle Star Galactica, Mad Men and Breaking Bad. So why is TV in the dark now all of a sudden? I think that it's simply, it's just bad lighting and there's gonna be a lot of bad TV.
