For someone who does think in terms of predicting and feels the need to want to predict the market how can they shift their mindset? Well first I would say recognize sort of the folly of it and then recognize all of the success that traders and value investors and trend followers have had simply aligning themselves with probabilities. If you look around there's a lot of models that work well from just taking a pure probability expectation.
