I Just Couldn't Find the Shovel Here

Dig up means to find, and it usually means bad information. The next phrase verb i'd like to teach you is dig out. That also is another way to find, but maybe more like to look for. I wouldn't say i'm trying to dig up my shovel. Most of the time it's with information. But when you use dig out, it means you probably know where that thing is located. You know where that is stored. My shed is old and it's falling apart, and i need a bungy cord to hold the door together. Found the shovel. So i had to dig out my shovel from the shed. Oh, that might be kind of tough to say
