Carlo was born and lived in Milletus, a city on the coast of what is Turkey today. The ancient Greek city was colonized by the Greeks a few centuries earlier. At the time it was a rather rich commercial city that was trading basically with everybody in the Mediterranean men around at the colonies. Carlo: There is a really a break in the work of an axi-mander but at some moment something remarkable changed from everything we have in the previous text and everything we have after that.
