The Importance of Closed Captions in Movies
David Bianculli: I would not suggest shutting yourself off to any avenues of interest. In fact, there was also a Netflix biopic of Rudy Ray Moore in the years since that episode happened. But anyway, whatever misgivings I had about the sort of white following around Black's Ploitation movies, I think we can safely put that aside. You can still have a problem with it and still enjoy the movies just being aware of the kind of context of their creation.
