The Burmese python is upending the food pyramid here in the Everglades, totally disrupting the typical order of operations. In their native range, they're a species of conservation concern. Taking them back to Southeast Asia could introduce new pathogens and put resident pythons there in danger. But with the telemetry program, Melissa and Sam hope the information they're learning will bring them one step closer to tackling the problem.
