Vet the culture as best you can, connect with people on LinkedIn that work there and ask questions about it. Find out how much they invest in their people too, as far as growth. Money is not everything, but it does allow freedom and it's a little bit of power. If you just have three to six months savings of your expenses, you have a lot more possibilities.
