How to Manage Emotional Hunger and Cravings

The next step that I would consider doing is focus on your mindset. A restriction mindset is a negative thing and can really play into these emotional eating issues. One of the things that can help us identify whether we have a habit or not is by understanding the anatomy of a habit. And so what we will typically find is that you know, an example of this would be driving home from work every day to get dunking donuts. The reward is getting to eat the Dunkin' Donuts in the middle of the afternoon. You can change those things up by focusing on one piece of food each day for 30 minutes.
