The Irrefutability of the Psychological Argument Against Pleasure
If you just look clear headedly at people's everyday pursuits, we don't simply pursue pleasure. We act in ways that, if we were heediness, would just be bizarre. So i think somebody like thomas hobbs presents an irrefutable view of human nature. But to call his value pleasure seems like a very strange way to use the turm.
