Let's Learn Everything!

CHAPTER

The Origins of Gravitational Waves

Einstein never believed that gravitational waves could exist and even up to his deadline, Einstein was like, I'm not sure we'll ever find them or if they'll be useful. So these, we're now getting to the point where people are starting to see them for the first time. In 1993, Halston Taylor actually received the Nobel Prize in physics for the discovery of this pulsar. They could tell that it was radiating gravitational waves by the fact that the orbit got closer together over time. It also just makes Einstein's theory that much more wild that he was correct in this prediction.
