Is There a Difference Between Presidential and Westminster-Style Systems?
In Nigeria's presidential system, the president doesn't have their power dependent on the whole population. This creates situations where presidents pursue power at the expense of the legislature. It is two American in certain respects without being American enough in others. But it's sad though because it's more of a policy argument than an institutional argument.
