The Origin of Everything Originated From Water

According to Aristotle, the philosopher was supposed to have recognized that the early spring and summer weather would result in a bounty harvest. The details of Thales' arguments of why everything originated from water aren't really that important for our story, nor are those of the philosophers who followed him. In rejecting supernatural explanations, they moved human thought to a place where nature could be examined and tested so that its patterns and regularities could be documented.
