The Evolution of Graphene

Graphene was found in rock deposits. Scientists think it came from bacteria billions of years old making one of the most advanced materials we know of. The carbon probably came from bacteria in the ocean surface at the time that died, fell to the sea floor and were then molded by high pressures and temperatures in the earth's crust.
