The Duc De Orleans - A Brief History

The orleans family had decamped paris in these hot summer days of late july 18 30. They were residing at their chateau at nuis, about five miles northwest of the centere of paris. The duke believed jumping the gun was a sure way to get himself exiled again and maybe even executed if nothing came of the unrest.
