For a long time, I was incredibly sedentary for long periods of time and then would consider that a barn burner of a workout for an hour to 90 minutes. And yeah, you deserve your pain. But it's a way to empower them. The pain is no longer the tyrant that turns them into the victim. It now transforms into a new task: Let me repeat that task with pain on my back. So there's two psychological extremes and they require two very different types of psychologically based coaching.
